Getting A Dental Bridge For A Missing Tooth

Hi, my name is Robin Pearson and when I had to have a tooth pulled, I was just devastated. I didn't want to have a gap in my mouth so I asked my dentist what he could do. My dentist said there were a couple of options regarding replacing a tooth that's missing. The option that interested me was a dental bridge. I went home and read all I could about dental bridges so I would completely understand how they work to fill in the missing space in my mouth. Since I am very pleased with my dental bridge, I wanted to share this information with other people who are also considering this option for a missing tooth.

How To Have Whiter Teeth In Pictures

If you are going to be having your pictures taken and your teeth aren't as white as you would like them to be, there are some simple tricks you can do to make your teeth look whiter. Follow the tricks described in this article and you'll find you are much happier with your smile in the pictures you have taken.

Choose the right lipstick

Putting on a red lipstick that has slight blue undertones will give the appearance that your teeth are whiter than they really are. Even men can dab on a very small amount of lipstick for the same results. A small amount will be enough to help it look like you have white teeth and it won't be obvious that you have lipstick on. This works because blue is a color in the color chart that counteracts yellow. Also following the rules of the color wheel, you never want to wear lipstick with any orange in it if you are concerned about your teeth looking yellow, it will really bring the yellow out in the pictures.

Tilt your head slightly upward

Tilting your head a little more toward the sun will keep you from getting a shadow on your teeth from your top lip. This will also help to give you whiter looking teeth.

Darken your face

You can put on concealer or bronzer that is one shade darker that the rest of your face. This will give the appearance that your teeth are brighter. Once again, you want to stay away from products that have an orange hue to them or they will have the reverse effect.

Put petroleum jelly on your teeth

Putting a thin layer of petroleum jelly on the front surface of all your visible teeth will help to give your teeth a shiny glare in the picture. This will make it look as though you have a bright, white smile. While you want to be sure you cover your teeth well, too much petroleum jelly will give your teeth a bumpy look. The best way to put it on is to take a small scoop on your index finger and smear it on all your teeth. Then, take another finger and smooth it out, removing any extra.

Following these tips will help you to have the white teeth you want in your pictures. For a more permanent solution, you should see a dentist, like Milan Simanek, D.D.S. & Associates, about teeth whitening solutions. Your dentist will be able to suggest the one that's the best for your situation.
